FAQs

Is this trug safe for drinking water?

Yes, the materials used are suitable for holding water for animals, provided the container is kept clean.

Are the dimensions exact?

No, the dimensions provided by the manufacturer are approximate and slight variations are to be expected.

Can I leave this outside in winter?

The Easi Trug is designed for outdoor use and can withstand typical cold weather conditions.

Is the material BPA-free?

The product is manufactured for agricultural and horticultural use using durable, standard industrial-grade plastics.

How do I remove stubborn stains?

Use a soft brush with warm, soapy water; avoid using abrasive steel wool as this may scratch the interior surface.

Is the handle strong enough to carry 42 litres of water?

The handles are designed to be strong, but always ensure you carry the load close to your body to distribute the weight effectively.

Troubleshooting

Trug has lost its circular shape

The flexible material is designed to deform under pressure; allow the trug to sit in a warm area and gently massage the walls back into their original shape.

Surface appears scuffed after heavy use

Scuffing is cosmetic and typical for high-density plastics; it will not affect the structural performance of the container.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This trug arrives ready for immediate use. To maintain the integrity of the material, avoid exposing it to extreme heat sources or sharp metal tools that could gouge the surface. For cleaning, simply use a mild detergent and a hose to rinse away dirt or food residue. Periodically inspect the handles for any signs of wear, especially if used to transport heavy wet loads regularly. Store the trug out of direct, intense sunlight when not in use for extended periods to prevent potential material degradation over several seasons.
