Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your walls are clean, dry, and free from dust or old wallpaper. Lightly sand any imperfections and prime if necessary.
- Cut wallpaper panels to size, allowing for a slight overlap if needed.
- Apply a suitable wallpaper paste directly to the wall, covering the area where the first panel will be hung.
- Hang the first panel, ensuring it is level using a spirit level.
- Continue hanging subsequent panels, butting the edges together closely and smoothing out any air bubbles with a clean brush or roller.
- Trim any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board using a sharp knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for application on most prepared interior walls. It is particularly effective on smooth, even surfaces where the embossed texture can be fully appreciated. Not recommended for bathrooms or kitchens prone to excessive steam or moisture without adequate ventilation.
Care:
Due to its durable vinyl finish, this wallpaper is scrubbable. Minor marks and scuffs can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture to maintain the integrity of the embossed texture and metallic finish.
