Troubleshooting

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Seamless integration with compatible Daiwa handles
- High-quality, durable construction materials
- Provides significant extra reach for difficult terrain
- Maintains structural rigidity under load
Cons
- Compatibility is limited to specific Daiwa models only
- Not a standalone handle; requires an existing compatible pole
- Increased length can feel slightly heavier when fully extended
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To attach the extension, simply unscrew the base cap of your compatible landing net handle and thread the extension onto the end of the existing pole. Ensure the connection is finger-tight to prevent it from loosening during use. This product is compatible with the following handles:
- Daiwa DVEC 3.8m handle
- Tournament PRO landing net handles
- Current and previous Airity landing net handles
To care for your extension, rinse it with fresh water after each session to remove salt or grit, especially if fishing in tidal areas. Store it in a cool, dry place and ensure it is fully dry before packing it away in a rod holdall to prevent corrosion of the fittings.
