Product Information

Full details

The GROHE Vitalio Joy+ 120 Hand Shower is designed for homeowners looking to elevate their daily routine with a versatile, high-performance bathroom fixture. It delivers a superior shower experience through three distinct spray patterns and precision-engineered water distribution, all while maintaining water efficiency; however, the integrated flow limiter may not provide the high-pressure sensation some users expect in regions with lower baseline water pressure.

FAQs

Does this hand shower include a hose?

No, the package includes the hand shower unit itself and is compatible with all standard shower hoses.

Can I remove the water flow limiter?

The EcoJoy flow limiter is integrated into the design to maintain water efficiency. Removing or tampering with it may void your warranty.

How large is the shower head?

The spray face measures 120 mm in diameter.

Is the chrome finish easy to maintain?

Yes, the GROHE LongLife finish is designed to be resistant to dirt and scratches; simple cleaning with a soft cloth is usually sufficient.

What is the warranty coverage?

GROHE offers a professional-grade warranty, typically covering manufacturing defects. Please refer to the specific documentation included in your packaging.

Troubleshooting

Low water flow or weak spray

Check the connection point for debris and ensure the EcoJoy flow limiter isn't blocked. Also, verify that your home's water pressure meets the recommended 3 bar requirement.

Nozzle spray pattern is uneven

Limescale buildup is the likely cause. Use the SpeedClean feature by wiping the silicone nozzles with your finger while the water is running to dislodge mineral deposits.

Leaking at the hose connection

Ensure the rubber washer is properly seated between the hose and the hand shower, and tighten the connection by hand until secure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Three distinct, versatile spray modes
  • Large 120 mm spray face for better coverage
  • Eco-friendly water consumption rate
  • Easy-clean nozzles prevent limescale clogs
  • Durable, high-quality chrome finish

Cons

  • Integrated flow limiter may feel restrictive to some users
  • Requires adequate baseline water pressure to maximize spray performance
  • Chrome finish requires regular wiping to avoid water spots

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the GROHE Vitalio Joy+ 120 is designed to be straightforward and typically requires no professional tools. Simply unscrew your existing hand shower from the hose, ensure the rubber washer is placed correctly, and screw the new unit onto the standard 1/2-inch hose connection. Regarding care, the chrome finish should only be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap or a specialized non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaning agents which can damage the finish. To keep the nozzles performing optimally, periodically run your thumb over the SpeedClean silicone tips to break up any mineral deposits that may have formed due to hard water.
