Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before beginning, move the packs into the room where they will be installed and let them rest for at least 48 hours to allow the timber to adjust to the room's humidity and temperature. This is critical to prevent future warping. For installation, you will need basic tools including a saw, a spirit level, a hammer, and appropriate adhesive or pins/nails depending on your mounting method. While the spruce comes in a natural state, it is highly recommended to apply a protective finish—such as a wood oil, varnish, or wax—after installation. This not only preserves the wood color but also protects the surface from dirt, scuffs, and daily wear. Dust the cladding regularly with a soft cloth to maintain its appearance.
