Full details
Durex Extra Safe condoms are specifically engineered for adults seeking an additional layer of security and reassurance during intimacy without sacrificing comfort. These condoms feature a slightly thicker construction and an extra-lubricated surface to provide enhanced durability, though the increased thickness may result in a slightly reduced tactile sensation compared to thinner, "ultra-thin" variants.

FAQs
Are these condoms safe to use with oil-based lubricants?
No. You should only use water-based or silicone-based lubricants, as oil-based products like lotion or petroleum jelly damage latex.
Can I reuse these condoms?
No. All Durex condoms are designed for single-use only.
What should I do if the condom breaks during use?
Stop immediately, withdraw, and dispose of the condom. Consider consulting a healthcare professional regarding emergency contraception if applicable.
Do these condoms contain spermicide?
No, the lubrication provided is standard silicone-based and does not contain spermicidal agents.
How should I dispose of them after use?
Wrap the used condom in a tissue and place it in a waste bin. Do not flush them down the toilet as they can clog plumbing and harm the environment.
Troubleshooting
Condom feels too tight or difficult to roll on
Ensure you are using the correct size and applying extra water-based lubricant to the outside of the condom if necessary.
Latex smell is noticeable
These condoms are treated to minimize odor, but if the scent persists, ensure they are stored away from heat and used within the expiration date.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure maximum effectiveness, always check the expiration date on the packaging before use. Open the wrapper carefully with your fingers, avoiding sharp objects like scissors or teeth which can cause microscopic tears. Use only water-based or silicone-based lubricants with these condoms, as oil-based products like petroleum jelly or baby oil can degrade the latex. Store the condoms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or sharp objects, such as inside a wallet or glove compartment, which can lead to premature material breakdown.
