The VEVOR LVLP Air Spray Gun is designed for automotive enthusiasts, furniture restorers, and DIY home improvement professionals who require a high-transfer efficiency tool for professional-grade finishes. Its primary strength lies in its precision atomization and versatility with multiple nozzle sizes, making it ideal for tasks ranging from automotive detailing to furniture painting. However, users should note that the device requires a dedicated air compressor with a stable output of 4-10 CFM to function correctly, which may not be compatible with ultra-small portable inflators.

You need a compressor capable of maintaining 4-10 CFM consistently at 30-43 PSI.
LVLP guns are designed for thinner materials; latex paint would require significant thinning, which is not recommended for this model.
You should clean the gun thoroughly after every project session to prevent paint hardening inside the nozzle.
LVLP (Low Volume Low Pressure) uses less air volume than HVLP, making it more efficient for smaller compressors while maintaining high transfer efficiency.
The spray gun is designed with a standard durable paint cup system suitable for most automotive and wood finishes.
Check if the air cap holes are clogged with dried paint and clean them with a soft brush.
Tighten the fluid nozzle and ensure the paint cup lid is properly vented.
Reduce the air pressure at the regulator and adjust the fluid needle to decrease paint volume.
Connect the gun to your air supply using the 1/4" NPT air inlet. It is highly recommended to use an air filter or moisture trap between the compressor and the gun to prevent water droplets from ruining your finish. After use, thoroughly flush the internal channels with the appropriate solvent for your paint type. Disassemble the nozzle and needle to clean them manually with a soft brush to prevent clogging. Always store in a dry place to prevent internal corrosion.
