Full details
The Paddington Soft Toy with Memory Cards set is designed for new parents and gift-givers seeking a charming, sentimental way to document a child's early development. This set provides the unique benefit of combining a high-quality, plush keepsake with functional, illustrated milestone cards to create a lasting record of baby's growth. A primary caveat is that the milestone cards are paper-based products, so they should be kept away from reach to prevent tearing or damage from liquids or sticky hands.

FAQs
Is the Paddington Soft Toy machine washable?
To preserve the integrity of the coat, hat, and plush fabric, it is highly recommended to surface clean the toy by hand rather than using a washing machine.
What age group is this set intended for?
This set is ideal for newborns and infants, though the plush toy should always be used under adult supervision during the early stages of life.
Can I write on the back of the milestone cards?
Yes, the back of the cards provides space for notes, allowing you to add the specific date and personal details regarding the milestone being celebrated.
Are there any loose parts that pose a choking hazard?
While the toy is built to high quality standards, always inspect the toggle buttons on the coat and the hat to ensure they remain securely attached before allowing a baby to play with it unsupervised.
What specific milestones do the cards cover?
The set includes 12 cards covering major developmental events like the first full night of sleep, first smiles, and first crawls, among other classic developmental stages.
Troubleshooting
Plush toy has surface dirt or stains
Gently spot clean with a damp, soft white cloth and a mild soap solution. Allow to air dry completely away from direct heat.
Milestone cards becoming curled or bent
Store cards flat inside the provided rigid keepsake box. If they become slightly curled, place them under a heavy, flat object like a book for 24 hours to flatten.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High-quality plush fabric provides excellent tactile comfort for babies
- Comprehensive 12-card set captures a full year of developmental milestones
- Charming keepsake box makes for an effortless and professional-looking gift
- Combines sentimental value with practical memory-tracking utility
Cons
- Milestone cards are made of paper and are not moisture-resistant
- Limited to 12 milestone stages, which may not cover every niche event
- Requires adult supervision when used near infants due to small components like hats or toggles
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the set, store the milestone cards in the provided keepsake box when not in use to avoid bends or stains. For the Paddington Soft Toy, light surface cleaning is recommended using a damp cloth and mild, fragrance-free soap to preserve the plush fibers. Do not submerge the toy in water as this may damage the internal padding. The cards are compatible with any standard photo album or scrapbook; you may choose to laminate the cards if you intend for them to be handled by the child directly in the future.
