These rectangular ferrite magnets, also known as ceramic magnets, are magnetised with a striped north-south polarity which focuses the magnetism on one face. The pole pitch runs across the width of the magnet and they also have a dimple on the non-magnetic face for easy identification. Ferrite magnets have a high resistance to corrosion and demagnetisation and their great advantage is that they can operate in temperatures of up to 180 degrees Celsius. These magnets are ideal for many applications where strength is not the most important factor such as craft making, model making and other non-technical applications. Commonly used in Conveyor Systems, Switches, Speakers, Arts, Crafts, Science, and DIY. They have a high resistance to corrosion without any extra coating and offer excellent resistance to demagnetisation. Features a 0.41kg maximum pull from the magnetic surface when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Dimensions: 25mm x 10mm x 5.1mm thick. Each magnet is magnetised on one face only with a striped, north-south polarity to maximise performance.
