Full details
The Hug Rug Floral Runner is perfect for homeowners looking to combine sustainable design with high-traffic functionality in narrow spaces like hallways or kitchens. Its primary benefit is the combination of a beautiful botanical aesthetic with a durable, machine-washable recycled polyester surface and a slip-resistant natural rubber backing. While the rug offers excellent practicality, users should note that its specific dimensions of 220 by 75 cm make it best suited for long, narrow passages rather than large open-concept rooms.

Troubleshooting
The rug corners are slightly curled upon arrival
Lay the rug flat and place a heavy object like a book on the corners for a few hours to allow the fibers to relax.
The rug slides on extremely polished surfaces
Ensure the floor is clean and free of dust or debris before laying the rug down, as dirt particles can interfere with the grip of the rubber backing.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Machine washable for effortless cleaning
- Eco-friendly materials used throughout
- Highly effective non-slip natural rubber backing
- Stain-resistant surface ideal for kitchens or entryways
- Ready to use straight out of the packaging
Cons
- Fixed dimensions limit placement options
- Floral design may not suit minimalist decor styles
- Standard runner width may be too narrow for larger landings
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply unroll the rug in your desired location. Because it arrives flat and ready, you do not need to use additional rug pads or adhesive tapes. For ongoing care, the rug is machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Ensure the rug is completely dry before placing it back on your floor to maintain the effectiveness of the rubber backing. Avoid using harsh chemical bleaches, as these may fade the delicate floral pattern over time.
