The WORKPRO Carpentry Squares Set is a professional-grade 2-piece kit designed for woodworkers, carpenters, and DIY enthusiasts who require precision in layout and joinery. This set offers reliable accuracy for marking 90-degree angles and transferring specific measurements, though it lacks a built-in digital display for those preferring electronic readouts. Combining durable stainless steel with classic hardwood construction, this set provides a perfect balance of ergonomic comfort and long-term durability for any workshop environment.

Yes, the stainless steel blades are corrosion-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor use, though they should be wiped dry after exposure to moisture.
The sliding bevel can be adjusted to lock at any angle from 0 to 360 degrees.
This set does not include a dedicated storage case; it is designed for standard workshop tool storage like drawers or wall racks.
The measurements are etched into the stainless steel, which ensures they remain visible even after years of friction and use.
Absolutely, the durable design and classic layout make it an excellent choice for woodworking students learning the fundamentals of layout and marking.
Ensure the tension screw is fully tightened while in the desired position; if it continues to slip, check for debris inside the handle channel.
Clean the blade surface with a dry cloth and ensure your workspace is well-lit, as the contrast between the stainless steel and the etched markings is designed for standard shop light levels.
Setup for these tools is straightforward as they require no calibration before initial use. To maintain the accuracy of your squares, keep the blades clean and free of sawdust buildup. If you are working in environments with high humidity, consider applying a light coat of machine oil to the steel blades to prevent oxidation. For the hardwood handles, a periodic light sanding or application of wood wax can keep the material from drying out over time. Always store the tools in a dry area or on a pegboard to prevent the steel blades from being bent or damaged by heavier shop tools.
