FAQs

What type of gas tank should I use?

We recommend a 5 kg gas tank for the best fit and performance with the fire pit.

Can I leave the cushions out all year?

No, it is highly recommended to store cushions indoors during the winter or heavy rainfall to prevent mold and wear.

Is the fire pit safe to use under a covered patio?

You should only use the fire pit in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Ensure there is sufficient clearance from overhead structures.

How do I clean the PE rattan?

Use a soft brush and a mixture of mild soap and water to gently clean the rattan. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Are the glass tops removable?

Yes, the tempered glass tops are typically designed to sit securely on the frame but can be removed for thorough cleaning.

Troubleshooting

Fire pit fails to ignite

Check that the gas tank is full and the valve is open. Ensure the igniter is not covered by lava rocks.

Gas smell near the fire pit

Turn off the gas supply immediately. Inspect the hose and joints for leaks and tighten any loose connections.

Wobbly table or chair

Check if all frame bolts are fully tightened. Ensure the floor surface is perfectly level.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Comprehensive set includes everything needed for outdoor dining and lounging
  • Stylish grey finish blends well with various garden aesthetics
  • Gas fire pit adds significant value for evening outdoor use
  • Tempered glass surfaces are durable and easy to clean

Cons

  • Requires significant space to accommodate all pieces
  • Assembly is required and may take time to complete
  • Requires regular safety checks for gas hose and connections

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your Fimous rattan set requires a flat, stable surface. Begin by assembling the tables and seating frames according to the included instructions. For the fire pit, ensure the gas hose is connected securely and check for potential leaks using soapy water before the first ignition.

  • Gas Compatibility: We recommend using a 5 kg gas tank for the fire pit operation.
  • Maintenance: Wipe the rattan and glass surfaces with a damp cloth. Store cushions indoors during heavy rain or winter months to maintain their longevity.
  • Safety Note: Never cover the igniter with lava rocks, as this can block the spark and prevent the fire pit from lighting correctly.
