FAQs
Is assembly difficult?
Assembly requires basic tools and following the provided instructions. Most users find it manageable, typically taking around 30-60 minutes.
What is PE rattan?
PE rattan is a synthetic material designed to mimic the look of natural rattan. It is known for its durability, UV resistance, and ease of maintenance, making it ideal for outdoor furniture.
How often should I oil the acacia wood top?
It is recommended to reapply oil to the acacia wood top annually, or more frequently if the table is exposed to strong sunlight or very dry conditions, to maintain its appearance and integrity.
Can this table be left outside in winter?
While the materials are weather-resistant, storing the table indoors or covering it with a waterproof cover during harsh winter months will significantly prolong its lifespan and maintain its appearance.
What is the weight capacity of the table?
The table itself does not have a specified weight limit, but the frame is designed to be stable. Related seating elements in the VidaXL modular range have a maximum capacity of 110 kg per seat.
Can I use this table indoors?
Yes, the table can be used indoors, but its design and materials are optimized for outdoor conditions.
What are the dimensions of the table?
The dimensions are 55 cm in length, 55 cm in width, and 36 cm in height (L x W x H).
Troubleshooting
Table wobbles after assembly
Ensure all screws and bolts are tightened securely. Check that the table is placed on a level surface. Re-read the assembly instructions to confirm correct part placement.
Wood tabletop appears dry or faded
Clean the tabletop thoroughly and apply a suitable natural oil finish specifically designed for acacia or hardwood furniture. Repeat as necessary until the desired finish is restored.
PE Rattan shows signs of dirt or grime
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water to gently wipe down the rattan. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry completely.
Rust spots appearing on the steel frame
Gently remove rust spots with a soft brush or fine-grit sandpaper. Clean the area and apply a clear, outdoor-grade sealant or touch-up paint to protect the metal.
