Troubleshooting

TV won't turn on or has no power.

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and a working wall outlet. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to confirm it's functional. Check for any tripped circuit breakers in your home.

No picture or a black screen.

Verify the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1, TVPlus) is selected using the remote control's 'Source' or 'Input' button. If using an external device, ensure it's powered on and connected properly.

Poor picture quality (blurry, grainy, incorrect colors).

Check your input source's signal quality (e.g., antenna connection, internet speed for streaming). Navigate to the TV's 'Picture Settings' menu to adjust brightness, contrast, color, and sharpness. Ensure 'Ultra Clean View' and 'PurColour' are enabled if desired.

Smart TV features (apps, internet) are not working.

Check your Wi-Fi connection in the TV's 'Network Settings' menu. Ensure the TV is connected to your home network and the internet is active. Try restarting your home router/modem. If issues persist, try performing a software update on the TV.

No sound from the TV speakers.

Check the TV's volume level and ensure it's not muted. If using an external sound system, verify its connections and power, and ensure the TV's audio output is correctly configured (e.g., optical, HDMI ARC). Disable any temporary audio outputs on the TV.

Remote control is not responding.

Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared sensor. Point the remote directly at the TV.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove the TV and included wall mount from the packaging. Inspect the TV for any new damage or confirm the noted cosmetic marks on the front frame. Keep all packaging in case of future transport.
  2. Wall Mount Installation: Since a stand is not included, you must wall mount the TV. Follow the instructions provided with your specific wall mount for secure installation. Ensure you have the appropriate tools and anchor the mount to wall studs for safety.
  • Note: The TV supports standard VESA mounting. Ensure your wall mount matches the TV's VESA pattern.
  1. Connect Peripherals: Plug the power cord into the TV and then into a wall outlet. Connect any external devices like a cable box, gaming console, or soundbar using the appropriate HDMI or other ports.
  2. Initial Power On: Press the power button on the TV or remote. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, which typically includes language selection, network connection (Wi-Fi), channel scanning for digital/analogue broadcasting, and agreeing to terms and conditions.
  3. Smart TV Setup: Connect to your home Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can sign into your existing streaming accounts or download new apps to access your favorite content via the Universal Browse and Play feature.

Compatibility

  • Broadcasting: Supports both Digital Broadcasting and Analogue Broadcasting tuners, allowing reception of various TV signals.
  • Connectivity: Features standard HDMI inputs for modern devices, and potentially other legacy ports (Info needed: specific port types and quantities) for wider compatibility.
  • Wi-Fi: Built-in Wi-Fi for seamless connection to your home network for Smart TV features.
  • Mounting: Compatible with standard VESA wall mounts (wall mount included).

Care and Maintenance

  • Screen Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, dry, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water (or a specialized screen cleaner, if available) and wipe gently. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive pressure.
  • Frame Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the TV's frame. For smudges, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Be mindful of the pre-existing cosmetic marks on the front frame.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper airflow around the TV. Do not block ventilation openings. Overheating can reduce the lifespan of electronics.
  • Power Management: Unplug the TV from the power outlet during lightning storms or if it will be left unused for an extended period.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid impacts or dropping the TV. When moving, always lift it from the base or sides, never by the screen.
