Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the planter requires no tools as it arrives ready for use. To begin, ensure you have a suitable saucer if placing the unit on wooden flooring or carpeted surfaces to protect against water drainage. When planting, it is recommended to place a layer of gravel or expanded clay pebbles at the bottom to improve drainage before adding high-quality potting mix.
For maintenance, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as these can strip the brushed paint finish. As the planter is susceptible to natural aging, you may see minor color shifting over the years, which is normal for the fibre clay material. During extreme frost conditions, consider moving the planter to a sheltered area to prevent potential material stress.
