The Power Source Set comprises 2 x 4.0Ah BL1840 Lithium Ion Batteries, 1 x DC18RD Dual Port Charger, and 1 x Makpac Case with Inlay. The BL1840 batteries offer a fast 36-minute charge time, providing up to 33% more runtime and extended battery life compared to previous models. They share the same size and weight as the 3.0Ah BL1830 and are compatible with current Li-ion chargers. Features include computer-controlled optimum charging, compatibility with starred and yellow terminal machines, and a cooling system for maximum battery life. The battery protection circuit, along with LXT Lithium-Ion technology and the optimum charging system, ensures 280% total lifetime work with twice the cycles. With a 5x lower self-discharge rate, batteries remain active and ready for use even after prolonged storage. Charging at any time does not affect battery life, and built-in shock-absorbing features protect the battery. Sixteen firm holding contact terminals minimize power loss or fluctuation in high-vibration environments. The integrated Memory Chip communicates with the charger, utilizing 3 Active Controls (Current, Voltage, Thermal) to maximize battery lifespan.
