Troubleshooting
Gas will not flow to the appliance
Ensure the regulator is fully clicked onto the cylinder valve and that the cylinder valve is opened. Check that the Excess Flow Valve hasn't triggered due to a rapid pressure drop.
Regulator feels loose on the cylinder
Verify that you are using a compatible 27mm clip-on cylinder. If the connection remains loose, do not operate; check the cylinder valve for damage or debris.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Tool-free setup
- Enhanced safety features including Excess Flow Valve
- Reliable, factory-crimped hose assembly
- Clear visual gas level monitoring
Cons
- Compatible only with 27mm clip-on cylinders
- Not suitable for threaded gas connections
- Fixed 85cm hose length may limit positioning
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure the cylinder valve is in the closed position. Align the regulator with the cylinder head and push down firmly until it locks into place. Compatibility is limited to 27mm clip-on cylinders such as Calor Patio 5kg, Flogas 6/11kg, and Gaslight 5/10kg bottles. For care, keep the regulator protected from direct rain or standing water when not in use. Regularly inspect the 85cm hose for signs of wear, such as cracking or stiffness. If the hose shows any visible damage or has exceeded the manufacturer's recommended lifespan, it must be replaced immediately, as the assembly is factory-crimped for integrity.
