The Hilitand HT30 water flow switch is an ideal solution for homeowners and technicians looking to automate pump activation for shower systems, solar water heaters, or booster pump setups. Its primary benefit is the reliable magnetic sensing mechanism that prevents operational failures caused by iron particles in water lines, though users should note it is specifically designed for fluid systems and requires careful orientation during installation to ensure proper sensor activation.

The switch is rated for operation in systems with water temperatures up to 70C.
Yes. The design separates the magnetic control chamber from the induction chamber to prevent failure due to magnetic iron particles.
No, the electronic components are designed specifically to be spark-free for safer operation.
The switch is highly sensitive and can trigger with water pressure as low as 0.03KG.
Yes, it is specifically designed for solar water heater cycles, shower systems, and booster pumps.
Verify the installation orientation matches the direction of water flow; check if the pressure meets the minimum 0.03KG requirement.
Check for air bubbles trapped in the line or a fluctuating water pressure supply.
Ensure that high-quality thread sealant or plumbing tape was applied to the connections during installation.
Installation of the HT30 should be performed by someone comfortable with basic plumbing connections. Ensure the unit is installed in the correct direction as indicated by the flow arrows on the housing; failure to do so will prevent the internal magnetic component from triggering the switch. To maintain the device, periodically inspect the induction chamber for heavy sediment buildup if you live in an area with hard water. Ensure all pipe threads are sealed properly using plumbing tape to prevent leaks. The switch is compatible with most standard residential plumbing diameters used in booster and solar applications.
