Troubleshooting
Gabion basket not holding its shape.
Ensure all spiral rods are securely fastened and that the spacer hooks are correctly installed and engaged. Distribute the fill material evenly within the basket.
Difficulty connecting the spiral rods.
Align the rods carefully with the corresponding openings in the metal grids. Ensure there are no obstructions. Gentle pressure may be required.
Visible rust spots on the surface.
The galvanised coating provides rust resistance. Minor spots may appear over time. Clean the area and consider applying a metal-specific sealant for added protection if concerned.
Basket feels unstable after filling.
