No, this kit is specifically calibrated for high-pressure diesel engine diagnostics and the adapters are designed for diesel-specific ports.
Compare the thread pitch and diameter of your engine's glow plug or injector hole with the included adapter set.
The gauge is factory-tested for accuracy within the 0-1000 psi range; avoid subjecting it to extreme vibration.
The adapters are constructed from durable brass for longevity and consistent thread engagement.
Yes, the kit is designed to be kept organized in its dedicated case, which helps protect the components from damage.
The hose is designed for high-pressure durability, but should be inspected regularly for cracks or bulges before each use.
Check the adapter connection at the cylinder port and ensure the quick-connect fitting on the hose is fully seated.
Inspect the rubber O-rings on the brass adapters for wear or damage and replace if necessary to ensure a airtight seal.
Ensure the gauge has not been subjected to drops; if the issue persists, check for blockages in the hose assembly.
To set up the device, identify the correct adapter for your engine's specific injector or glow plug port and attach it firmly. Connect the pressure hose to the gauge assembly and ensure the quick-connect fitting is securely locked. Compatibility spans most diesel engines used in trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment. To maintain the kit, wipe the adapters clean after every use to prevent debris from entering the engine cylinders during future tests. Store all components in the provided case to prevent cross-threading of the brass fittings. Avoid bending the hose beyond its design limits to maintain its pressure integrity.
