Connect legacy Thunderbolt devices to your new Thunderbolt 3 computer with this adapter. It allows you to connect newer Thunderbolt 3 computers to legacy Thunderbolt devices such as external hard drives, displays, and older Thunderbolt-capable Mac computers. This adapter is backward compatible, enabling connection to first-generation Thunderbolt devices at 10Gbps speed and Thunderbolt 2 devices at 20Gbps speed. It supports bi-directional data transfers and simultaneous power delivery for bus-powered devices. Additionally, you can set up 10Gbps peer-to-peer networking between older and newer Thunderbolt laptops for small workgroups, peripheral sharing, or quick data migration. The adapter bridges the gap between modern Thunderbolt 3 computers and older Thunderbolt 1 and 2 devices, providing a seamless transition. It supports Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 (Mini DisplayPort) conversion and is Thunderbolt 3 certified for Windows and Mac.
