Full details
The Bait Tech 5L Camo Bucket & Lid is an essential storage accessory designed for carp and coarse anglers who need a reliable, transportable method for managing their bait. It offers a secure, durable environment to keep groundbait, particles, or pellets fresh and protected from the elements during fishing sessions. While its compact 5-liter capacity is perfect for shorter trips or specific bait mixes, it may be too small for anglers requiring bulk storage for multi-day sessions.

FAQs
Is the bucket completely waterproof?
The lid provides a highly secure seal that prevents bait from spilling, but it is not designed to be submerged as a watertight container.
Can I use this for liquid additives?
Yes, the plastic material is inert and suitable for storing particles mixed with liquid glugs or oils.
Is the bucket stackable?
While the design is durable, it is not explicitly designed for interlocking stacking with other buckets.
What is the weight of the empty bucket?
It is made of lightweight, durable plastic, making it easy to carry even when fully loaded with bait.
Will the camo pattern fade in the sun?
The exterior features a high-quality finish, but like all plastic gear, it is best kept out of direct, prolonged UV exposure when not in use.
Troubleshooting
Lid is difficult to remove
Apply even upward pressure around the rim of the lid rather than pulling from one side.
Lingering fishy odors
Fill the bucket with a mixture of warm water and baking soda, let it sit for one hour, then rinse thoroughly.
Pros and Cons

- Subtle camouflage aesthetics
- Easy to clean after use
Cons
- Limited capacity for long sessions

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bucket is straightforward: simply press the lid firmly onto the rim until you feel it click into place to ensure an airtight seal. For care, avoid using abrasive scouring pads when cleaning, as these can scratch the plastic and harbor leftover bait particles. Instead, rinse with warm water and a mild detergent after every session, especially if you have used oily attractors. Ensure the bucket is completely dry before storing it for an extended period to prevent odors. Because of its standard round design, it is compatible with most traditional bait bucket carryalls and transit systems.
