Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
To start using your automatic watch, ensure the mainspring is wound. You can do this by gently shaking the watch side-to-side for about 30 seconds, or by manually winding the crown (if applicable to the specific movement) by turning it clockwise while in the '0' position until you feel resistance. Set the time by pulling the crown to the appropriate position and turning.
Compatibility:
This watch is a standalone mechanical timepiece. It does not require compatibility with other devices or software.
Care:
- Winding: Automatic watches should ideally be worn daily or wound manually if not worn for more than 24-48 hours to maintain consistent timekeeping.
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: Refer to the specific water resistance rating for this model. Avoid submersion in water unless explicitly stated as suitable for swimming or diving. Always ensure the crown is pushed in or screwed down.
- Servicing: Like all mechanical watches, this timepiece benefits from periodic servicing (typically every 3-5 years) by a qualified watchmaker to ensure its longevity and accuracy.
