Setup, Compatibility & Care
Planting: Choose a sunny, sheltered location. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and incorporate well-rotted manure or compost. Plant the tree at the same depth it was in its nursery pot.
Watering: Ensure the soil remains consistently moist, particularly during dry spells. Water thoroughly at the base of the tree.
Feeding: Apply well-rotted manure or compost annually in spring to support healthy growth and fruiting.
Pollination: This variety is *not self-fertile*. To ensure fruit production, plant it near another compatible apple variety that flowers at the same time. Examples include 'Braeburn', 'Elstar', or 'Gala'.
Care: Prune lightly in late winter to maintain shape and encourage fruiting. Remove any dead or crossing branches. Protect young trees from pests.
