FAQs

How often should I replace the airstone?

The airstone should be replaced every four to eight weeks, or when you notice a reduction in bubble flow.

Where is the airstone located in my biOrb?

The airstone is located at the base of the aquarium, underneath the filter cartridge.

Why is the airstone important?

The airstone breaks up the airflow into fine bubbles, which helps to disperse oxygen throughout the tank and improve water circulation.

Can I clean the airstone?

No special cleaning is recommended. It's best to replace the airstone when it becomes blocked.

What happens if I don't replace the airstone?

If the airstone isn't replaced, the flow of bubbles will reduce, which can decrease oxygen levels and negatively impact the health of your fish and other aquatic life.

Is the Biorb Airstone compatible with other aquarium brands?

No, the Biorb Airstone is specifically designed for use with Biorb aquariums.

Troubleshooting
