The Horstmann C-Stat 17-B is a 7-day programmable room thermostat designed to give you control over your central heating and hot water. This device allows you to set up to six target temperature settings per day, ensuring your home is comfortable when you need it to be, while also helping to save energy. The thermostat features a large, back-lit display with menu-driven programming and prompts to guide you. It automatically adjusts for daylight saving time and can display both the target and actual room temperatures. Key features include a temporary temperature override, a holiday programme, optional high and low temperature limits, and a tamperproof security code. It also has an optional optimum start facility. The C-Stat 17-B is battery-powered, making it suitable for replacing most existing room thermostats. It is compatible with most gas or oil-powered heating systems, combi boilers, and solid-fuel heating systems, and is Boiler Plus compliant. The thermostat uses a sophisticated time proportional integral (TPI) algorithm for accurate temperature control and energy efficiency. This model comes with a 2-year warranty.
