This guide is for adult dog owners seeking a hypoallergenic, easily digestible food option. The key benefit is a limited-ingredient, single-protein formula designed for sensitive dogs. A potential caveat is its specific formulation, which may not suit all dietary needs without veterinary consultation. Calibra Life Lamb Canned Adult Dog Food offers a high-quality, hypoallergenic diet featuring a single protein source (lamb) and a limited number of carefully selected ingredients. It is gluten-free, low in rice, and enriched with salmon oil for skin, coat, and cognitive health, ensuring optimal nutrition for adult dogs without common allergens like wheat, maize, soy, or GMOs.

The product description states it contains only 100% defined ingredients of the highest quality and is free from GMOs, wheat, gluten, maize, and soy, implying no artificial additives.
Salmon oil is a rich source of Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA), which are essential for brain development and function, as well as supporting the physiological functions of the skin and coat. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
The product is described as gluten-free with a low rice content, and it contains no wheat, maize, or soy, making it suitable for dogs sensitive to grains.
Gradually introduce the new food by mixing small amounts with the current food over 7-10 days. Warming the food slightly or adding a small amount of warm water can enhance aroma and palatability.
This can sometimes occur when changing food. Slow down the transition process, extending the mix-in period with the old food. If symptoms persist, consult a veterinarian.
Ensure the can is properly sealed and refrigerated immediately after opening. Do not leave opened food at room temperature for extended periods.
Minor variations in texture or color can occur due to natural ingredient differences. This is normal and does not affect the food's nutritional value or safety. Ensure the expiration date is valid.
Setup: This product is ready to serve directly from the can. For optimal palatability, it is recommended to serve the food at room temperature. Ensure the can is stored in a cool, dry place before opening.
Compatibility: Calibra Life Lamb Canned Food is suitable for adult dogs. Its hypoallergenic formulation makes it a good option for dogs with common food sensitivities. It can be used as a complete meal or as a complementary food, mixed with dry kibble, provided that the overall diet remains balanced. Consult with your veterinarian before mixing with other foods or if your dog has specific health conditions.
Care: Once opened, refrigerate any unused portion in a sealed container and consume within 2-3 days. Ensure clean bowls are used for feeding. The packaging (cans) should be disposed of responsibly after use.
