The STV Fly Max XL Fly Catcher Bait Refill is designed for homeowners and gardeners seeking a reliable, chemical-free method to manage fly populations in outdoor spaces. By utilizing a water-activated, scent-based attractant, these 8g sachets ensure your STV Fly Max XL trap remains consistently effective throughout the season, though they are specifically engineered for outdoor use only and should be kept away from living areas to avoid attracting flies near home entrances.

These refills are specifically formulated for the STV Fly Max XL trap and may not perform as intended in other trap systems.
Replace the bait when the trap becomes full or when the attractant loses its effectiveness, which is typically after several weeks depending on fly activity.
The attractant is designed to be used in traps that should be kept out of reach of pets and children to avoid accidental ingestion.
The sachet contains a scent-based food grade attractant that is activated by water to draw flies into the trap.
No, the sachet is designed to work effectively with water only.
Ensure the trap is placed in a sunny location and confirm that enough water was added to fully dissolve the sachet contents.
This is normal, as the scent is what attracts the flies. Ensure the trap is positioned at least 5-10 meters away from outdoor living spaces.
To set up the refill, open the top of your STV Fly Max XL trap and remove any remaining debris from previous use. Drop one 8g sachet into the bottom reservoir and fill it with the recommended amount of lukewarm water to jump-start the activation process. Replace the lid securely. Compatibility is strictly limited to the STV Fly Max XL trap system. For maintenance, check the water level weekly in very hot weather, as evaporation can reduce the effectiveness of the attractant. If the trap becomes saturated with flies, replace the bait entirely to maintain high performance.
