FAQs

What speakers are these wall mounts compatible with?

These wall mounts are specifically designed for and only compatible with the Sonos Era 300 speakers.

Do these mounts come as a single unit or a pair?

They come as a set of two (x2) wall mounts, ideal for setting up a stereo pair or surround sound configuration.

What color are the wall mounts?

The wall mounts are available in a sleek black finish, designed to match your Sonos Era 300 speakers and blend with most home decor.

How do these mounts improve sound quality?

By securely mounting the speakers to the wall, they help reduce unwanted vibrations and minimize sound reflections from surfaces, leading to clearer and more immersive audio.

Are all necessary installation screws and hardware included?

> Info needed: Specific details on included mounting hardware (screws, anchors) are not provided. Please check the product packaging for a complete list of contents.

Can I paint the wall mounts to match my wall color?

It is not recommended to paint the wall mounts. Doing so may damage the finish, affect the material integrity, or void any warranty. The mounts are designed with a durable, integrated finish.

What tools do I need for installation?

Typically, you will need a drill, screwdriver, level, tape measure, and a pencil. Depending on your wall type, a stud finder and appropriate wall anchors may also be necessary.

Troubleshooting

Mount feels loose or unstable after installation.

Ensure all mounting screws are fully tightened. If mounted into drywall, confirm appropriate wall anchors were used and installed correctly. If mounted into a stud, re-check screw depth and security. If the issue persists, consider consulting a professional.

Sonos Era 300 speaker doesn't fit correctly onto the mount.

Double-check that you are attempting to mount a Sonos Era 300 speaker. These mounts are custom-fit for this specific model only. Gently align the speaker with the mount's attachment points; do not force it.

Scratches or damage occurred during installation.

Use painter's tape or a soft cloth to protect the speaker and wall during installation. For minor scratches on the mount, a black touch-up pen might be used, but this is at your discretion.

Sound quality issues after mounting (e.g., muffled sound).

While mounts enhance sound by reducing vibrations, ensure the speaker's position is still optimal for your listening area. Verify no cables are obstructing the speaker's acoustic ports. If issues persist, check your Sonos app for any EQ or Trueplay calibration settings.

Visible cables despite the mount's design.

Ensure you have routed the power cable through the designated channels on the mount and along the wall as intended. For a fully concealed look, consider in-wall cable management solutions (professional installation recommended).

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup Instructions

  1. Gather Tools: You will generally need a drill, screwdriver, level, tape measure, pencil, and potentially a stud finder depending on your wall type.
  2. Choose Location: Identify the ideal wall location for each speaker, considering power outlets, listening height, and room acoustics. Mark the intended mounting points with a pencil.
  3. Ensure Safety: Before drilling, verify there are no electrical wires or plumbing behind the wall at your chosen locations.
  4. Install Mounts: Secure the wall mounts to the wall using appropriate fasteners for your wall type (e.g., wood screws for studs, wall anchors for drywall). Ensure the mounts are level and firmly attached.
  5. Attach Speakers: Carefully place your Sonos Era 300 speakers onto the installed mounts, ensuring they are correctly seated and secured according to the mount's design.
  6. Cable Management: Route the power cables neatly. The mount design typically allows for discreet cable management.

Compatibility

  • These wall mounts are exclusively designed for the Sonos Era 300 speakers. They are not compatible with other Sonos models or third-party speakers.

Care & Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the mounts with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which could damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check that the mounts remain securely fastened to the wall and that the speakers are firmly seated on the mounts.
  • Avoid Painting: The sleek black finish is designed for durability and aesthetics. Painting the mounts is not recommended and may compromise the finish or material integrity.
