Before using Liqui Moly Top Tec 4110 5W-40, it is crucial to consult your vehicle's owner's manual or the manufacturer's specifications. This oil meets several demanding approvals and recommendations, including:
- Specifications/Approvals: ACEA C3, API SN, BMW Longlife-04, MB-Approval 229.31, MB-Approval 229.51, MB-Approval 229.52, Porsche C40, VW 511 00.
- LIQUI MOLY Recommendations: GM dexos2, GWM, HAVAL, MB 226.5, Renault RN 0700, Renault RN 0710.
Ensure your vehicle's required specifications match one of these listed. The oil is designed for vehicles meeting Euro 4, Euro 5, and Euro 6 emissions standards, with or without gasoline particulate filters (GPF) or diesel particulate filters (DPF).
Setup:
Changing engine oil is typically a routine maintenance task. Ensure you have the correct oil filter and drain plug washer for your vehicle. The process generally involves:
- Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
- Safely lift and support the vehicle.
- Drain the old oil completely.
- Replace the oil filter.
- Reinstall the drain plug with a new washer.
- Fill the engine with the appropriate amount of Top Tec 4110 5W-40, ensuring not to overfill.
- Start the engine and check for leaks. Allow the engine to run for a few minutes, then re-check the oil level and top up if necessary.
Care:
For optimal performance and longevity, use this product unmixed. Adhere to your vehicle manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals. Regularly check your oil level between changes and top up with the correct specification if needed. Store the oil container in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
