The easyputty Wood Filler is an ideal solution for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners looking to repair imperfections in furniture, cabinets, flooring, and doors. Its standout benefit is the inclusion of a patented applicator that ensures precision and minimal waste, though users should note that the filler requires a curing period before it can be stained or varnished to achieve a seamless finish.

Yes, the improved formula is specifically designed to withstand both interior and exterior conditions.
Absolutely. Once the filler is dry and sanded, it is compatible with paint, stain, and varnish.
The applicator is designed to allow for precise placement of the filler, reducing mess and preventing excess product waste.
Drying time varies based on the size of the repair and environmental conditions; always ensure it is hard to the touch before sanding.
Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly after every use. If it has begun to stiffen, it may be nearing the end of its shelf life.
Apply the filler in two thin layers rather than one thick layer, allowing for partial drying in between.
Ensure the filler is completely dry before applying a test patch of your stain or varnish, as the color of the filler may change slightly during the staining process.
Ensure you are using the correct grit of sandpaper and sand while the filler is fully cured but not aged for weeks, which can make it harder.
Before application, ensure the wooden surface is clean, dry, and free of loose debris or oil. Use the patented applicator tool to apply the brown filler directly into the damaged area. Allow the product to dry completely; the time required will depend on the depth of the repair and ambient humidity. Once dry, use the included sandpaper to smooth the area. To maintain the repair, ensure any stain or varnish applied matches the surrounding wood. Keep the container tightly sealed in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent the filler from drying out prematurely.
