Designed for large and giant breed puppies destined to reach an adult weight of over 25kg, this formula focuses on controlled growth to protect long-term skeletal health. Its primary benefit is the balanced nutrient profile that prevents accelerated development, though owners should note that it is specifically engineered for large breeds and may not be suitable for smaller puppy breeds with higher metabolic needs.

This formula is appropriate for large breed puppies from weaning until they reach their adult size or transition to an adult formula, typically around 12-18 months.
No, this formula is specifically balanced for the growth requirements of large and giant breeds (over 25kg adult weight) and does not provide the correct energy density for smaller breeds.
By controlling the growth rate and providing appropriate calcium levels, it helps reduce the mechanical stress on developing joints, which is a key factor in long-term skeletal health.
Feeding amounts vary based on the age, weight, and activity level of your puppy. Please refer to the feeding table on the back of the packaging for precise guidance based on your puppy's current weight.
While this is a high-quality puppy food, it is specifically designed for the growth phase of large breed dogs. Consult your veterinarian regarding specific nutritional requirements for pregnancy or lactation.
Ensure the kibble is fresh and stored in an airtight container. You may slightly moisten the dry food with warm water to enhance the aroma.
Slow down the transition period over an additional 3-5 days to allow the puppy's digestive system to acclimate to the new nutrient profile.
To transition your puppy to SPECIFIC CPD-XL, mix it with their previous food over a period of 7 to 10 days, gradually increasing the proportion of the new food. Store the bag in a cool, dry place and ensure it is tightly sealed after every use to maintain nutrient integrity and freshness. Always provide constant access to clean, fresh water, as the kibble's nutrient density requires adequate hydration for proper digestion.
