FAQs

What size gas tank should I use?

We strongly recommend using a 5 kg gas tank for this dining table fire pit.

Can I leave the cushions outside?

It is recommended to store cushions in a dry, indoor area during inclement weather to maintain the quality of the fabric.

How do I maintain the powder-coated frame?

Clean the frames periodically with a mild detergent and a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the finish.

Is assembly difficult?

The set requires assembly. Ensure you have the provided tools and follow the manual carefully, perhaps with the assistance of another person for the larger sofa sections.

Why does the color look slightly different from the photos?

Product color may vary slightly due to individual monitor settings or specific outdoor lighting conditions.

Is the fire pit area safe to cover with rocks?

You can use the provided lava rocks for decoration, but you must not cover the igniter, or it will fail to light.

Troubleshooting

Fire pit fails to ignite

Check that the igniter is not covered by lava rocks and verify that the gas tank is full and connected properly.

Gas odor detected near connections

Immediately shut off the gas supply at the tank and inspect all joints and hoses for leaks using a soap water test.

Furniture frame feels unstable

Re-tighten all bolts and connections to ensure they are secure, and verify that all feet are adjusted to be level on the patio surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Generous seating capacity for up to nine people
  • Multi-purpose design combining dining table and gas fire pit
  • High-quality alloy frame construction provides structural stability
  • Neutral aesthetic fits various garden and patio decor styles

Cons

  • Requires professional or careful DIY assembly
  • Requires regular safety inspections of gas hoses and joints
  • The igniter must remain unobstructed by lava rocks to function correctly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before assembling your Fimous set, verify all parts are present against the included manual. Due to the size and the nature of the fire pit components, clear the intended patio area of any debris to ensure a stable, level surface for the alloy frame. When installing the gas fire pit, use a 5 kg gas tank for the best fit. Always perform a leak test at the hose connections and joints before the first ignition. For maintenance, keep the furniture clean by wiping the frames with a damp cloth and storing cushions indoors during heavy rain or the winter season. Always cover the fire pit area when not in use to keep the burner clean and dry.
