Thor Nylon hammers feature a choice of plastic grip or wooden handles with chrome-plated zinc heads and nylon faces. These faces are fitted as standard and are available in 6 different weights. Alternative faces, colour-coded to distinguish hardness, are also available. The faces are designed to wear and are replaceable by hand. Available in 6 sizes, each with different weights, these hammers are used as multi-purpose striking tools in most assembly applications including engineering, furniture, shopfitting, partitioning, double glazing, and injection moulding dies. THO406 and THO408 are fitted with wooden handles, while THO410, THO412, THO414, and THO416 have plastic handles. Weight: 250g (1/2lb). Diameter: 25mm (1 in). These Thor plastic hammers possess a wooden handle and a chrome-plated head with two screw-on medium hardness plastic striking faces. Available in two sizes, the striking faces can be replaced when worn, and the handle can also be replaced if necessary. All faces are designed to wear and can easily be replaced. Faces are one-piece moulded with no metal pegs to damage the workpiece when worn down. The wood shaft improves user comfort and grip. Available in two sizes to suit your requirements.
