The Spector 1200W Ash Vacuum Cleaner is an ideal solution for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who regularly maintain fireplaces, wood heaters, or charcoal barbecues and need a dedicated tool for handling fine particulates. By utilizing a powerful 20KPA motor and a robust 20L fire-resistant metal tank, it ensures efficient cleanup of ash and debris that would otherwise damage a standard household vacuum. While it is built for durability with its powder-coated steel construction, users should note that it is designed specifically for cold ash, meaning you must ensure all embers are completely extinguished before operation to prevent potential damage or fire hazards.

No, you must wait for all ash and embers to be completely cool before vacuuming to avoid damaging the filters or posing a fire risk.
While it can handle fine dust, it is specifically engineered for fireplace ash and heavy debris; a standard vacuum is usually more ergonomic for general household floors.
Gently tap the filter against a hard surface to dislodge dust or use a soft brush. Do not use water unless specifically stated in your manual.
The Spector Ash Vacuum features a 20L tank, providing plenty of room for heavy-duty cleanup tasks.
No, this is a dry vacuum cleaner and should not be used to suck up water or any other liquids.
The hose is made of metal to handle the abrasive nature of ash, but it is not designed to come into contact with direct fire or burning coals.
Check the filters for blockages and ensure the metal hose is not clogged with debris.
Verify that the HEPA filter is properly seated and the locking clips on the tank are fully engaged.
Setting up the Spector Ash Vacuum is straightforward. Simply attach the castors to the base, ensure the filters are seated correctly, and lock the lid clips firmly onto the steel tank before plugging in the 3m power cord.
