TIMCO 4.8 x 430mm Black Cable Ties are essential for trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable, high-strength solution for cable management and industrial bundling. Offering an impressive 22.2kg tensile strength and a versatile 110mm maximum bundle diameter, these ties provide a secure hold for heavy-duty applications; however, note that these black nylon ties are primarily designed for indoor and sheltered outdoor use, as they lack UV stabilization for long-term direct sunlight exposure.

No, these are standard locking cable ties designed for a single-use, permanent securement.
The maximum bundle diameter is 110mm.
They are suitable for sheltered outdoor use, but they are not UV-stabilized and may become brittle if left in direct, permanent sunlight.
Each tie is rated for 22.2kg of tensile strength.
They are manufactured from high-quality, durable nylon.
Yes, they are manufactured to meet BS EN 62275 standards.
Ensure the tie is not being pulled at an extreme angle; pull parallel to the locking head to maintain structural integrity.
Double-check the bundle diameter does not exceed 110mm; if it does, use two ties linked together to increase total length.
Nylon can lose moisture if stored in extremely dry conditions; store in a sealed bag to retain material elasticity.
To use these cable ties, simply thread the pointed end through the self-locking head and pull tight. For the best performance, avoid over-tightening to the point of deforming the bundle's inner contents. These ties are compatible with most standard cable tie tensioning tools. When storing, keep the ties in their original packaging in a cool, dry place to prevent the nylon from becoming brittle. Excessive humidity or heat before use can impact the material's natural flexibility, so aim for a stable, indoor storage environment.
