Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The switch is designed for easy integration into a 12-volt DC electrical system. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before installation. Connect the power input to one spade terminal and the accessory output to the other. A third terminal is typically used for the illumination, which should be wired to a positive 12-volt source that is active when you want the illumination to be on (e.g., ignition, or a separate accessory circuit).
Compatibility: This switch is exclusively compatible with 12-volt DC power systems and has a maximum rating of 20 amps. It is suitable for automotive, marine, and motorsport applications.
Care: To maintain the switch's performance and appearance, clean the housing periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the polycarbonate material. Ensure connections remain clean and free of corrosion for optimal electrical contact.
