The Bartoline Fix and Grout is a versatile, dual-purpose tiling solution designed for DIY enthusiasts and trade professionals needing to fix and grout wall tiles in residential bathrooms or showers. This product offers the convenience of a combined adhesive and grout that dries to a bright, crisp white finish, making it excellent for high-moisture environments. A key caveat to keep in mind is that this product requires a 24-hour drying period before transitioning from the fixing stage to the grouting stage, necessitating patience for successful results.

Yes, the formula is designed to withstand frequent wetting, making it ideal for bathrooms and shower areas.

Work in smaller sections to ensure you fix tiles within the 20-minute open-time window.
Use a dedicated grout finisher tool for consistent lines and clean away excess material with a damp sponge while still workable.
Ensure the surface was primed correctly. Raw plaster and timber require specific priming steps before adhesive application.
Before starting your project, ensure all surfaces are completely clean, sound, and free of loose debris, grease, or dust. Compatibility depends on the substrate: if you are working with new plaster or porous surfaces, you must prime the area with a PVA adhesive first. For new timber installations, an oil-based primer is required to seal the wood. To maintain your finished surface, avoid harsh chemical cleaners and keep the tiled area dry for the initial 24-48 hours to ensure maximum durability of the bond and grout lines.
