Full details
The M4 Sherman was the main American medium tank during World War II, produced from 1942-1945 and becoming the most recognizable American tank. It underwent continuous modifications throughout the war and was equipped with a 75 mm cannon. Initially, its ammunition and flammable engine made Shermans vulnerable to heavier German tanks, but design refinements eventually allowed Shermans to overcome these disadvantages. Approximately 49,000 Shermans of all versions were produced and used by armies including the USA, Great Britain, Poland, France, and the USSR. It earned a reputation as a reliable, easy-to-manufacture, and well-armed tank. This COBI block-based Sherman is built in a large 1:28 scale, allowing for greater detail reproduction. The model features a movable cannon, a rotating turret, an opening hatch, and a working track system. All graphic details are high-quality prints that resist wear during intense play. The design uniquely reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration. Additional accessories on the tank recreate its features and can be interacted with by minifigures representing the tank's crew, including a detailed figure of the tank commander. The set is completed by a nameplate displaying the tank's name. These tanks are perfect for mature enthusiasts of military technology and anyone who loves history and construction. Build history, piece by piece, with COBI. The set contains 852 high-quality blocks produced in the EU by a company with over 20 years of tradition. The blocks meet safety standards for children's products and are fully compatible with other construction block brands. Printed blocks do not scratch, smear, or fade. Instructions are clear and intuitive, based on illustrations and step-by-step directions. Model dimensions are 21.5 cm x 9.5 cm x 12.5 cm. Age recommendation is from 7 years. Model No. COBI-2570.
