Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure safety and performance, the awning should be mounted onto a solid wall structure, such as concrete or masonry. If installing on wood-frame houses, ensure the mounting points align with wall studs or include appropriate backing.
- Preparation: Unpack all components and verify hardware against the manual.
- Alignment: Use a spirit level to ensure the brackets are perfectly horizontal before marking drill holes.
- Anchoring: Use high-quality expansion bolts or appropriate wall anchors suitable for your specific wall material.
- Maintenance: Periodically rinse the canopy with mild soapy water and a soft cloth to remove dust or debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or harsh chemicals that could scratch the polycarbonate surface or degrade the UV coating.
