Product Information

Full details

The Fimous Aluminium Lounge Corner Sofa Set is designed for homeowners who want to transform their backyard or patio into a functional social space for up to nine people. Its primary benefit is the integrated gas fire pit dining table, which allows for year-round outdoor entertainment by providing both warmth and a gathering point. One caveat to consider is that the set arrives flat-packed and requires assembly, and it is essential to store the cushions indoors or under a cover to maintain their longevity and protect them from weather damage.

FAQs

How many people can sit on this set?

This set is designed to accommodate up to 9 people comfortably.

Can I use a larger gas tank than 5 kg?

It is recommended to use a 5 kg gas tank for safe and proper fit within the designated space of the dining table.

Is the table glass-topped?

No, this specific model features a durable solid aluminium tabletop.

Does the set come assembled?

No, the product is delivered flat-packed and requires assembly by the user.

How should I clean the aluminium frame?

Clean with a soft cloth, water, and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive sponges that could scratch the powder-coated finish.

Should I cover the igniter with lava rocks?

No, for safety reasons, do not cover the igniter unit with lava rocks.

Troubleshooting

Fire pit does not ignite

Check the gas supply in your 5 kg tank, ensure the hose is connected securely, and verify that the igniter is not obstructed by lava rocks.

Tabletop wobbles

Check that the frame bolts are tightened evenly and ensure the furniture is placed on a level patio surface; use shims if necessary.

Signs of rust or oxidation

While powder-coated aluminium is rust-resistant, surface damage to the paint can expose the metal; touch up any scratches with matching outdoor metal paint.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Durable, rust-resistant powder-coated aluminium frame
  • Generous seating capacity for up to 9 guests
  • Versatile dining table with integrated gas fire pit for ambiance and warmth
  • Sturdy metal tabletop design
  • Modular configuration options

Cons

  • Requires assembly upon arrival
  • Delivered flat-packed on a pallet (kerbside delivery only)
  • Cushions are not permanently waterproof and require storage
  • Tabletop is solid metal without glass aesthetics

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because the set arrives flat-packed on a pallet, you will need tools and assistance for assembly. Ensure you have ample space in your garden for the initial setup. Compatibility-wise, the fire pit is designed to house a 5 kg gas tank within the table structure. Maintenance involves wiping down the aluminium surfaces with a mild detergent and water. To prevent fabric degradation, keep the seat cushions in a storage box or indoors when not in use. If you do not have interior storage, we highly recommend purchasing a custom-fit rain cover to protect both the metal frames and the cushions from moisture and dirt.
