Product Information
Full details
This Smart Garden doormat is designed for homeowners looking to enhance their entryway's appeal while effectively managing dirt and moisture. Its key benefit lies in its durable, coir material which is highly absorbent for cleaning footwear and paws. A potential caveat is that its effectiveness may be reduced in very heavy, prolonged wet conditions due to the natural coir material.

Is the material absorbent?
Yes, the coir material is highly absorbent, making it effective at removing dust, dirt, and moisture from footwear and paws.

We do not recommend using this doormat on a heated floor, as the PVC backing may be affected by sustained heat.
Troubleshooting
Mat is slipping or moving
Ensure the floor surface beneath the mat is clean and dry. The PVC backing requires a clean surface to grip effectively.
Dirt is not being removed effectively
Scrape shoes more thoroughly on the mat. For deeply embedded dirt, a stiff brush may be needed for cleaning.
Mat remains wet for a long time
In damp conditions, coir can absorb significant moisture. If prolonged wetness is an issue, consider placing the mat in a sheltered area or bringing it indoors during very wet periods to allow it to dry fully.
Fibers are shedding excessively
Initial shedding is normal for coir mats. Regular brushing should reduce this. If shedding is excessive after several weeks of use, contact customer support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply unroll the doormat and place it flat at your desired entryway. Ensure the area beneath the mat is clean and dry to maximize the effectiveness of the non-slip backing.
Compatibility: This doormat is suitable for use with most standard door types and entryway surfaces. It can be used on hard surfaces like concrete, tile, or wood, as well as on carpeted areas. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor placement.
Care: To clean your doormat, brush it thoroughly when dry. This will remove loose dirt, dust, and debris. For more stubborn dirt, you may need to use a stiff brush. Avoid using water for cleaning unless absolutely necessary, and if so, ensure the mat dries completely before use to prevent mildew. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
