Yes, this is a standard UK 3-pin plug designed to be compatible with all standard UK wall outlets.
You will need a wire stripper and a compatible screwdriver (usually flathead) to secure the wires.
This plug is intended for indoor use. Avoid using it in damp or exposed environments.
Check if the internal fuse has blown and inspect your wiring connections for any loose terminals.
Immediately disconnect the device and check that the wire connections to the terminals are tight and secure.
To set up the plug, first ensure the appliance power cord is unplugged from all sources. Strip the outer insulation of your cable, followed by the individual live, neutral, and earth wires. Connect the wires to their respective terminals (Brown to Live/L, Blue to Neutral/N, and Green/Yellow to Earth/E). Ensure the cable clamp holds the outer sheath of the wire firmly. Regularly inspect the plug for any signs of scorching or physical damage. Always keep the plug dry and avoid pulling the cord directly to remove it from the wall socket; instead, hold the plug head firmly.
