Product Information

Full details

The Mainline Hi-Visual 12mm Mini Pop-Ups in Milky Toffee are designed for carp anglers who require a high-attraction, small-profile bait that maintains reliable buoyancy for extended fishing sessions. These baits are ideal for targeting wary carp or utilizing big-hit tactics, offering a bright white visual profile and a proven flavour profile. While they provide excellent buoyancy for their size, users must ensure their chosen rig components remain balanced to fully capitalize on the scaled-down presentation.

FAQs

Can these be used on a Chod rig?

Yes, the high-performance mix ensures they maintain buoyancy even with heavier mono rigs like the Chod.

What is the flavour profile?

These feature the classic Milky Toffee flavour, known for its strong attraction and success in various conditions.

Are they suitable for deep water fishing?

The high-visibility white colour and strong scent profile make them effective, though buoyancy should always be tested with your specific rig.

How many come in a tub?

The product is supplied in standard 150ml tubs, providing an ample amount for multiple sessions.

Do I need to soak these in liquid attractant?

They are already manufactured with a high-attract mix, so they are ready to use straight out of the tub.

Troubleshooting

Bait is not buoyant enough for the chosen hook

Use a slightly lighter hook or add a small amount of putty to the rig to adjust the equilibrium.

Pop-ups losing scent over time

Store in the original sealed 150ml tub and avoid exposing the baits to moisture or excessive heat.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Reliable, long-lasting buoyancy even with heavy rig components
High-attract scent profile proven to stimulate fish
Bright white visual colour stands out on the lake bed
Compact 12mm size is ideal for pressured waters
Convenient 150ml tub storage

Cons

Limited to a specific 12mm size profile
Requires careful balancing for ultra-light presentations
Visual effectiveness may vary depending on silt or deep water clarity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, ensure that your hook choice is balanced to the weight of the bait. While the pop-up mix is highly buoyant, verify your rig's buoyancy in a glass of water before casting out to ensure the hook settles correctly. Store the tubs in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the flavour and the effectiveness of the bait. Always ensure the lid is securely fastened after use to prevent the pop-ups from drying out or losing their potent scent.
