Setup, Compatibility & Care
No specialized setup is required for the Neilsen Feather Edge; it is ready to use immediately upon removal from packaging. To ensure longevity, clean the tool thoroughly after every use while the plaster is still wet using a damp sponge or cloth. Avoid using harsh steel scrapers that could damage the edge profile or scratch the measurement scale. Store the tool flat or hung vertically in a secure location where it will not be subject to pressure that could cause the aluminum to bow or warp. Periodic checks for nicks along the working edge are recommended, as a damaged edge will transfer imperfections to your plaster work.
