Troubleshooting

Curtains look wrinkled after hanging

Use a handheld steamer or a low-heat iron to gently smooth the fabric while it is hanging or on an ironing board.

Curtains feel too long or short

Verify the rod placement; adjusting the rod height by a few inches can often correct the visual drape of the curtains.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Adds a charming, nostalgic aesthetic to any room
  • Includes matching tie-backs for added value
  • Fits seamlessly with country or cottage-style home decor
  • High-quality print design from the Noveltex collection

Cons

  • Requires periodic maintenance to keep the checkered pattern wrinkle-free

  • Light filtering properties depend on specific window orientation

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the Noveltex curtains is standard and compatible with most conventional curtain rods. Before hanging, measure your window frame to ensure the selected dimensions allow for the desired gather. To care for your curtains, it is recommended to use a gentle wash cycle if machine washable or spot clean to protect the integrity of the gingham print. Avoid high-heat drying to prevent shrinkage. For maintenance, a low-heat iron setting is recommended to smooth out the fabric while preserving the vibrant green color.
