No, the chest arrives fully assembled and ready for use right out of the box.
Regularly dust with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or direct exposure to harsh sunlight which may affect the finish over time.
The drawers are designed with traditional craftsmanship. If they feel stiff, a light application of wax on the wooden runners will keep them moving smoothly.
The chest is built with sturdy materials suitable for standard bedroom storage. Avoid overloading individual drawers with excessively heavy items to maintain the integrity of the frame.
Check if the floor is level; if the unit is tilted, the frame may twist, causing drawers to misalign. Use leveling shims if necessary.
Ensure no items are caught behind the drawer. Apply a small amount of paraffin wax to the wooden drawer runners to improve glide.
Use a specialized furniture polish recommended for metallic or painted wood finishes to restore luster.
Since this piece arrives fully assembled, setup simply involves placing the chest in your desired location. Given its weight, it is recommended to place the unit on a flat, level surface to ensure the drawers open evenly.
