Product Information

Full details

The Shires Full Cheek Snaffle with Copper Peanut is ideal for young or green horses as the cheeks can assist with steering. The shanks on the bit create a positive action against the horse's cheeks when asked to turn and this design also prevents the bit being pulled through the horse's mouth. The peanut copper link in this bit provides a warm metal for the horse's mouth and also helps to encourage salivation. A great bit for schooling. Available in Length: 4.5", 5.0", 5.5" or 6.0". Mouthpiece Thickness: 13 mm. Cheek Height: 165 mm.
