Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before initial use, check that the hydraulic oil level is correct and ensure the unit is bled of any air trapped in the system during transport. To bleed the system, turn the release valve counter-clockwise and pump the handle several times before closing the valve. For care, keep the ram clean and lubricated with a light coating of hydraulic oil to prevent corrosion. Periodically inspect the polyurethane wheels for debris that could inhibit smooth movement. When not in use, store the jack with the arm fully lowered to protect the hydraulic seal from long-term pressure stress. Always ensure the vehicle's manufacturer-recommended jacking points are used to prevent structural damage to the chassis.
