Full details

This MSA V-Gard 500 safety helmet features a UV-stabilised ABS shell that is scratch-resistant and vented for improved airflow. It includes a built-in rain gutter for outdoor operations and provides lateral crushing protection. The helmet is equipped with a Fas-Trac III Suspension system with a wheel ratchet and a wipeable PVC sweatband. Standard slots allow for easy attachment of MSA visors and/or ear muffs. Chinstraps (2 or 3-point) are sold separately. Available in a range of colors including White, Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Black, Hi Vis Orange, and Hi Vis Yellow. Non-vented versions and other suspension variations are available upon request. It conforms to EN 397:2012 Safety industrial helmets and is Electrostatic-Ineris certified (testing according to EN ISO 80079-36:2016), making it suitable for use in ATEX environments (hazardous zones 1, 2, 20, 21, and 22). Non-vented versions are also certified to EN 50365 Insulating helmets for use on low voltage installations. MSA Reference: GV482-0000000-000.
